What this site does

atvtoursguide.com is an independent guide to ATV tours by destination. For each place we check what is actually bookable, how long the machines are moving rather than how long the tour is billed for, what the operator requires from the rider, and what the ride costs once fuel surcharges, park fees and mandatory extras are factored in.

We are not a tour operator and we do not rent machines. Every booking is completed on the operator's or platform's own site, where the final price, the rider rules and the cancellation terms are confirmed.

How tours get listed

Listings come from GetYourGuide and Viator. A tour makes a destination page when it meets all of the following:

• A public rating from real bookings, with enough reviews to be meaningful. Poorly rated tours are left out.
• An operator who states the minimum driver age, licence requirement and passenger rules up front.
• A price that includes helmet and goggles, or says plainly what costs extra.
• A cancellation policy stated up front. Many tours allow free cancellation up to 24 hours before; where a tour is sold non-refundable we say so.

Nobody pays to appear here, and no operator has a say in the order tours are shown or in what is written about them.

What we check on every destination page

• Ride time. Time on the machine, separately from hotel pickup, waivers and briefing.
• Rider rules. Minimum driver age, whether a licence is needed, and from what age children can ride as passengers.
• Terrain. Dunes, jungle mud, beach sand, slickrock or lava field, since they ride nothing alike.
• Real cost. The headline price against the add-ons: fuel surcharges, park entry, insurance and camera fees.
• Season and heat. When the destination actually rides well, and when departures move to early morning.

How this site makes money

When you book through a link here, GetYourGuide or Viator pays a commission at no extra cost to you. That funds the research and keeps the site free. It does not change what you pay, and it does not decide what gets recommended: the platforms pay the same rate whichever tour you pick.

Corrections

Prices, seasons and operator rules change. If something here is out of date, tell us at corrections@atvtoursguide.com and it gets fixed.
